To each other they were sisters, with bonds forged in blood and terror. To the Red Army Air Force they were an infuriating feminist sideshow. To the Germans they were simply Nachthexen—Night Witches.

Game publishers are providing copies of some of their popular titles for our attendees to check out of the Boardgame Library like any other game in our library, except when they finish playing everyone who has played in the game gets to fill out a ballot. So does the game teacher if they didn’t play in the game. On Sunday, we’ll run a draw for each game and the winner takes home that copy of the game!
It’s a great opportunity to try new games, and maybe take one home!

Information for GMsIf you are interested in competing in the Breakout 2017 Iron GM Local tournament, here is everything you need to know.
On Saturday March 11th at 7:00 pm, GMs will be randomly selected from the list of interested competitors.
At 11am on Sunday, three secret story elements will be revealed. The GMs will then have 30 minutes to prepare a 3 hour adventure for a random group of players, and a guest judge.
GMs are required to supply all materials necessary for their players to learn and play their game of choice. (pens, pencils, dice, etc.)
After the game is over, the Judges will lead a brief discussion with the players, scoring the GMs on their use of the secret elements, use of the time available, and other GM best practices such as teaching their game of choice, ensuring each player gets a share of the spotlight, creating and maintaining the tone and atmosphere they are aiming for, etc.
Best of luck GMs! This is a great chance to show off your brilliance and ingenuity.
